The vent hole is supposed to be at the top always, even when side feeding & i use the newborn flow nipples from lansinoh, i recomend those

Have you tried bottle paced feeding? Google it. You lay her on her side and feed, it mimics nursing. Works wonderful for my newborn! 💕
