As a Foundational Black American whose ancestors have been on American soil for over 400 years, I have to be honest with you. And I am telling you this with love... WE DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING YOU JUST SAID. Haitians have to figure out Haiti for themselves. The United States Government does not owe Haitians anything. The assistance y'all received was meant to be temporary. We wish y'all the best. but we have our own stuff to deal with. God's speed!

Some of you in the comments don’t know how TPS works. People get approved protection for years in order to work on another status. Getting a new status takes years. Trump stopped the protection wrongfully . People are approved for 5 years or so. The “2 years” sht was the Biden program not TPS ….TPS is another status that allows longer stay in order to get citizenship or another status. Some of y’all are dmb asf in the comments and racist asf. Just because you don’t have a destination you are safer than my people. If they had a place to send you they would.
