My grandpa put his horse down and he didn’t cut her tail. I asked why and he said that he’d be joining her soon anyway so she needed it more than he did 😭

To clarify, I cut her tail to keep before I laid her to rest due to complications from colic. Navi passed away in my arms November 12, 2023. Most of her tail was used in this painting my mom made for me 💗
