I never did squats because the PT in my gym 10 years ago refused med for elevating my heels (which happens naturally). Always had pain and discomfort, especially with my knees. I have apperently long femur (31). I will go and squat with elevated heels now

Lean into the smith as she is, forcing knees over toes and pushing up and ‘back’ - or flip it the other way to make further room for the hips on the descent?

OR stop squatting at all, do a hack squat. it's not an obligation to squat for leg growth, mr squat university.
