African here. Christianity in Africa is not the same as the current version of it. The Ethiopian version had over 2,000 books vs the current 66 in the Bible. So yes, today's Christianity is white from the white man

The oldest surviving complete illustrated Christian manuscript and one of the earliest translations of the Bible into Ge'ez, an ancient Ethiopian language, is known as the Garima Gospels. These gospels are housed at the Abba Garima Monastery in Ethiopia. Monastic tradition suggests they date back to around 500 AD, and radiocarbon dating supports a date range of the 4th to 7th centuries. The Garima Gospels are considered the oldest Ge'ez manuscript and among the earliest Byzantine text-type witnesses of the Gospels
