@racinezoo: Check out this behind-the-scenes look at a daily training session with our Amur Tiger, Changbai! Changbai and carnivore keeper, Kyle, do daily training to monitor Changbai's health and allow her the chance to participate in her own medical care. Daily training, like what you see in the video, is imperative for providing the best possible care for our residents. This allows the animal to participate in their own veterinary visits, providing them a choice in hands-on care. Training is completely voluntary and is positively reinforced. If Changbai chose to not participate in her training one day, we would simply skip that day and try the next. Training provides the animal a chance to bond with their keeper, participate in their own care, stimulate the brain, provide enrichment, and so much more. #wisconsin #zoo #amurtiger #training #endangered
