The reason so many people don’t stop or resist arrest or don’t drop their weapons is because they know that police have had their hands tied so much that they can’t really do what needs to be done without the suspect literally CHARGING AT THEM TRYING TO KILL THEM and even then if they shoot they are critcized and could be charged. BUT they know the dog is going to tear them up if they don’t comply so they think twice. We need to give our officers in the field back their rights and ability to use their judgment without such scrutiny.
