If Jesus didn't start a church, why did he say to Peter, You are Peter, meaning rock, and on this Rock I will build my church and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loosen on earth will be loosened in heaven. If that doesn't sound like a church with authority, I don't know what does. Maybe read the book of Acts where it speaks of the church, who to elect as bishops and priests, keep the traditions we have taught you, and so on. Also in scripture, it states the church is the pillar and mainstream of truth on God's word. The church is not the people, it's the authority of the people on God's word and the people are the sheep, whom Jesus Christ referred us to, not a church.

Jesus Christ has demostrated that he was not a leader of the Jewish nor a leader of the Jewish temple. How is it possible Christ was going to use his own Name as a church or religion under Christianity. Paul created it under his name Chris-tian. What does the word Christianity means for you then.🤔

(Matthew 23) Yet the church loves titles, power, and honor..I think in these last days, the Devil "has already taken his seat in the temple" or the church. (2 Thessalonians 2:4)
