I grew up on štrukli and I don’t like the ones served in La Štruk. The consistency is to soft and runny and the taste is also to bland. You get a more traditional experience if you get one in the bakery chain Mlinar. I really like those. They are more chewy and have better flawor. Try to get the fresh and warm.

If you visit zagreb , try strukli to go at ilica 156 its a small bakery and in my opinion they are the best you can find

im Croatian and I have no idea what this is, I've never even heard of it, doesn't even look Croatian, the way it looks im guessing its more likely Slovenian or Austrian with perhaps sour cream added which we Croats love, but no idea what the heck that is.
