No one is getting rich on PIP. The increase in claims is, in my view, worsened by the delays and incompetence of the NHS. Failure to treat mental illnesses appropriately and early. Same with chronic diseases. No child dreams of a future on benefits as an adult. It's an essential benefit for the most vulnerable in society.

im on lcwra and failed my PIP mainly because I found it hard to explain my fluctuations properly and they couldn't find diagnosis of my leg issues. I know why mainly because as a child my mum moved around alot changing doctors a lot etc. back then medical records got lost misplaced more. But my mum had all the letters but when she died all that got thrown away by the council. So no evidence other than the fact that the DWP had sent me to there own specialist doctors but of course i got the old we only keep information a few years excuse. but yeah I wasn't bothered about my leg anyway as I was only claiming in my head for my new worsened conditions of COPD and eosinophilic asthma overlap which I suffer badly from i alos have learning difficulties and was in special needs for my emotional problems in school and at home. I also have ptsd which you will know brain fog and fear of something when there is nothing to fear ie loud bangs crowds etc.
my profile shows a little peep into my struggles but also shows me trying to keep my life together โค๏ธHuge respect from to you.
Thank you for helping those who need it.

Hi James If the government want to save money why donโt they overhaul the free prescription service if you have an illness that allows free prescriptions thatโs great but say you have thyroid problems your thyroid meds should be free but then if you have an unrelated illness that prescription should be paid for remove paracetamol from the free prescriptions service this medication cost about 50p in the supermarket but itโs given away like candy at an astronomical cost to the tax payer i myself know people with boxes of the stuff they never use but are repeatedly prescribed it on the free prescriptions service and before everyone comes at me I am in favour of pip I donโt receive it i donโt receive any benefits I would rather my tax go to the disabled not paracetamol and drugs of the like ( keep up the good work James )
