I wouldn't have put that under the bus. I would have mounted it to the back of the bus. Due to the exhaust spin right there, extra heat and yeah, road debris. that ac unit will not last that long under that bus.

also, idk if you plan on still driving the bus, but if you do please reinforce or make sure the exhaust pipes are sealed, to prevent carbon from flowing through the ac

ooou can i suggest, for maybe the next project, the next time you need to cut out layers, use a drill bit to drill holes in the corner, from there depending on the material, use a saw to finish the rest.
