Fun Fact! its illegal to cut a saguaro cactus down in Arizona so they will grow sooo big! I think they are so pretty but Im also from Arizona so I love it when it rains and you can smell them! 💙

The saguaro or sahuaro is native to the Sonoran desert that belongs to Mexico. When the US appropriated Arizona, part of the Sonoran desert landed in what is now “Arizona”. They’re native to Mexico technically.

after years of severe drought the saguaros will all pop out a ton of flowers all at once to try to ensure more seeds and new ones can grow, sometimes it kills them
