Well said 👏🏻 but I think a lot of men will deny that the only emotion they are “allowed” to show is “anger” as men show happiness and kindness often too so the sentiment towards the msg might sway. I believe anger holds power as it’s an emotion can cause others to experience fear. Anger and fear power hierarchy’s which is why it’s commonly associated.

I agreed with everything up until the point where you talk about men’s mental health and telling men they are the problem but not giving them “room to grow.” There is plenty of room for them to grow but in order to grow, one has to recognize and name the issue at hand, hold themselves accountable for the role that they play in their own suffering but also hold themselves accountable for the harm they cause others because they refuse to do the work.
