I’ve been wearing sun screen regularly all summer (face sunscreen daily) and I’ve gotten quite tan. I’ve always tanned pretty easily though. I always tell my friends sunscreen prevents the burn not the tan.

Dr. Dray, thank you for your content. I had a BCC a three year ago. As a kid, I never wanted to get tan, but sun protection wasn’t a huge priority. I have always loved the outdoors. After the excision, I stumbled on your YouTube video. Along with my derm and your content, I’ve learned the importance of sun protection and ways to protect my skin. I’ve even have my parents doing the same! I have not had a sun burn since. I do have a little tan line on my arms. So maybe I still can do better.I love sun protective clothing and the cera ve sheer hybrid sun screen on my face! I use banana boat sport on body. I also try to avoid the 10am-4pm outside! I’m trying to be better. Thanks for your content. It makes a difference.

Sunscreen question cuz i watch all ur videos on it- when they say reapply every 2 hours does that mean 2 hours in the SUN or it doesnt work after 2 hours? For ex sometimes im inside n i put on sunscreen n make up at 8:00 am. Then i dont go out til 11am. Is it already worn off?
