Dexcom are 20 minutes behind thats why they tell you to still check you blood sugars with finger pokes, especially when your feeling off.

want a story my dexcom was saying I was low (I was walking for diabetes east of England) so I was treating myself so I checked my blood sugar later I was 29.5 with ketones of 2.7 (it wasn't nice)😳😳😳

my dexcom reading was off the other day and I gave myself insulin (I forgot to check with glucometer I was very tired) and I went into insulin sh0ck and was unresp0nsive so I had to go to the ER and then was transferred to the ICU

Sensors can typically be about 15 min behind cause they don't measure the sugar in your blood

Sensors are roughly 20 min behind the actual sugars AND there's a 20% error range between the sensor and meter before its considered "inaccurate."

My Dexcom is being inaccurate to when I was putting it on the button got stuck and I couldn’t press it so I done it really hard and pressed it but when I did I didn’t think the needle went it properly so the wire isn’t sitting in my arm properly I don’t think and I can feel it it’s so uncomfortable and every time I calibrated it’s not working properly 😔 has the button got stuck for anyone else before or is it just me because it has happened to me before and I couldn’t press it at all the sensor just wouldn’t release and I had to call Dexcom and get a replacement also I’m on Dexcom G7
