@theparentingreframe: These are the 3 things every parent should consider when building self regulation skills. When kids are emotionally disregulated they need us to respond in a way to meet their needs. #parentsoftiktok #strongwilledchild #emotionalregulation #emotionregulation #selfregulation #tantrum #tantrums
As a former people pleaser. sticking to my boundaries with parenting really helps with my overall boundary setting. It’s so healing. Thank you 🤍🤍🤍✨✨✨🥹🥹🥹

My son is 3 and is very stubborn. He puts up a fight about a lot of things, for example, brushing his teeth. How do I manage that?

Can you recommend resources for adults to learn how to self regulate bc that information is nowhere out there (or am I looking in the wrong places)

Thank you, for posting these. I hope you truly know how much your videos are helping some of us who are really struggling. I tend to forget that my daughter doesn’t process things the way that her siblings and others do. I’ve been losing my patience and I feel awful because I love her sweet little soul. I just need to remember to keep these things in mind.❤️

What would an example of a consequence be instead of a punishment? My toddler has been fighting her naps (we Cosleep) and I don’t want her to be scared of a punishment (sleeping alone in her room), but understand the consequence of not taking a nap when she needs one. I feel bad giving an ultimatum but I don’t know what else to do. Please help!

Thank you for these videos. My son is 8 and i told myself I’d never have a child like this but guilty parenting has caused him fighting and arguing over anything from what he has to eat to bedtime routine. Then I give a consequence and he screams, says awful things and physically reacts. It’s so sad and isolating bc I’m single and don’t have help with this. I’m told to spank him but I don’t feel that’s right anymore at this age. I usually take away Xbox every day but I feel like I’m setting him up to fail

Any advice for parents who have trouble regulating their emotions 😅 as someone with ADHD and RSD I find my emotions are all over the place all the time. So of course my kids are.
