My friends did a sit in at Murkowski's office and a lot called Dan's. Alaska relies on a lot of federal money and there's a disappointingly large amount of people who think they'll be okay without it up here.

Yes, so many hospitals will close without Medicare & Medicade!! If a huge chunk of patients can’t pay for care anymore, then the hospital can’t afford to keep on enough staff, cover utilities, etc to stay open in the meantime for when privately insured patients need them.

balance corps are also going to shutter. if they arent part of a large corporation, loosing out on the Medicare and Medicaid will bankrupt them.
