NASA and space x have different development plans. NASA tests on paper while space x tests in real flight experience. I’m not saying one’s better than the other but both have different approaches and the nasa approach normally workes every time on the 1st go

Watching the shuttles launch was powerful, mabey it's just the rose colored glasses but it dont hit the same. Our nation's best and brightest compared to a member of the billionaire boys club and his hobby.

Shuttle failed to achieve its goal of sustainable access to space and was ultimately canceled for being too expensive and dangerous. SLS is at risk of repeating that. SpaceX at least tries to build on the lessons learned from Shuttle and make it better.
