Yeah if you don’t work where I work where a diag is 1.5 no matter what, then they pay under book time for most repairs. Sad thing is it’s a well known company 🤦 smh

Appalachian Feral People. A trucker told me this story from the Appalachian Mountains in North Carolina—and it still creeps me out. He said once a month he’d get paid really well to haul a load to a remote mountain drop point, basically “middle of nowhere.” No warehouse. No receiver. Just: pull off near the woods, unload, and leave. He never knew what it was for… but the money was too good to ask questions. One night he arrived late—pitch black—unloaded the shipment on the roadside like usual, then decided to sleep a few hours in his truck. During the night, he woke to strange screams and vocalizations echoing through the trees, like something communicating deeper in the forest. He heard commotion outside but told himself it was wildlife… and fell back asleep. At daylight, he looked out the window—and froze. He said there were people up in the trees, 10–15 feet high, just hanging there and staring at him like they’d been waiting. He described them as deformed / inbred-looking, moving almost like animals. Then they climbed down and started carrying the supplies into the woods—quiet, coordinated, and fast. He didn’t confront anyone. He started the truck and left immediately. Later, other truckers allegedly told him these were “feral people” living deep in the Appalachians—isolated groups that avoid outsiders, only surfacing when supply loads get dropped.
