I have the BRCA gene mutation, which increases risk of female cancers. I’m curious if they wanted to test you for that? I think it’s common to test for it with a diagnosis under a certain age, especially if there is family history

Girl, I’m so proud of you for advocating for yourself. I took Aromasin for five years and your body does change. it really does take a couple years to recover from chemo radiation and new medication.

Congratulations! I’m 30 too and have spoken to my mother a lot during her menopause journey— she emphasizes that for some women it’s extremely difficult, but for others like herself, it’s incredibly liberating. Like a new chapter in life. She’s always going on about how she looks and feels the best she has in years. Hoping your body and mind gets comfortable with this new disposition!

I was diagnosed three years ago with IDC and spread my lymph nodes. I did the double mastectomy chemo radiation just had my expanders taken out and implant put in. I’m on lettezole and I have all those side effects. I’ve been on it for two years. I just talked to my oncologist. I want off of it and she says I have another 3 to 13 years has turned me mean
