@laylaleannetaylor: Grateful I got to share some more about who I am and what I go through on the @secretlivesonhulu reunion. There’s still so much left untold and I hope to share more one day when the time is right. One of the hardest part about battling mental illness and healing from extreme trauma is the feeling of isolation and for me not wanting to burden anyone in my life with my struggles. I hope by sharing what I have gone through and continue to battle I help one person not feel alone and that there’s hope. I’m still battling things today but will continue to fight through them for my boys. I hope that in sharing my journey I show, I’m not glamorizing my struggles, but creating a safe place for all those that struggle with the same. Sometimes just feeling heard can save a life. If you’re ever dealing with thoughts of s3lf harm, suicid3, or eating disod3rds please reach out my DMs are always open. You never know what someone is going through, be kind. And for those currently struggling, you’re amazing, the world wouldn’t be the same without you and I’m proud of you 🤍 tw: scars

My favorite part about the reunion was more of everyone actual story being shared, instead of just petty drama. Keep being strong for your boys! They are lucky to have you Layla

I’ve NEVER seen another creator show their scars. It’s a very vulnerable thing to do. You should be incredibly proud of yourself 🩷🩷🩷

No, but producers could literally change lives for the better by sharing all these impactful stories of authenticity. These human stories would resonate with thousands. Instead: producers want fights and drama. 😩

When you said your sons pointed out your scars and said “ouchies” that made me sob so hard. It makes me want to be better for my future children. I started therapy to work on my trauma to prepare myself to be a mom so I can break the cycle and be what my children need

I took summer school with a girl in Utah years ago who had scars like this all over her legs and arms… I wish I would have known a little more about this to have told her she was enough. So sad… praying for your healing.
