I have what I like to call “waistband sensory issues” which ikyky and if you don’t know it’s basically having a super sensitive mid section that can’t stand the feeling of a waistband. I think its more mental than anything LOL but nonetheless it is something that can bring me great distress. So here are my four favorite pairs of hiking pants with comfy waistbands that I have been LOVING this year: My sizing for reference: Height: 5’6” Weight: 125 lbs Build: short legs, long torso TYPICAL pant size: small/2 Prana Stretch Zion Cargo Pants Size 2, inseam 29 FINALLY A WOMEN’S PANT THAT YOU CAN CHOOSE THE INSEAM LENGTH! These pants have been my new favorite obsession since I got them last month. They are so comfy and shockingly stretchy while still being lightweight and breathable. & I love the cute cinches in the back! Cotopaxi Los Dos Zip Offs Size XS If I had to choose one pant to live in, it’s these. This elastic waistband is the comfiest thing ive ever put on my body. & I love that zip off pants are coming back in style, but finding ones that actually zip into CUTE shorts is quite difficult. But Cotopaxi has absolutely nailed it with these! I have them in both colors!! REI activator pants XS Petite I swear I never hear anyone talking about these pants, but they are literally the perfect blend of durability and comfort in a pant that ive ever tried. I have hiked and backpacked and climbed in these for years now and not a single pill or hole or anything! They are SO stretchy extremely comfy and an absolute must have imo Stio pinedale 2 Regular I found these pants years ago and was immediately obsessed. They are so easy to move in, the pants are water resistant and extremely durable and the belt in the front makes them VERY flattering with a customizable fit.
