I'm so glad to hear this! My sister set up my system (she's the smartest person I know when it comes to money) and I just call it her method. it doesn't fit either known method (snowball & avalanche)

All said and done, it needs a behavior change on part of credit card holders. Avoid reckless spending, spend within your means. In the long run, a behavior change is the solution. For immediate handling, personal loans or balance transfer can be explore. But, all that is temporary. Permanent solution is behavior change.
