@mamaaa9204: Jeffrey Bush, 37, was asleep in his bedroom on March 1, 2013, when the ground beneath his home in Seffner, Florida, suddenly collapsed. His brother, Jeremy, heard terrifying screams and rushed to help, only to find Jeffrey falling through the floor as the earth swallowed him-along with his bed and belongings. Rescue teams arrived quickly, but the sinkhole estimated to be around 20 feet wide and deep-made it impossible to reach him. Despite frantic efforts over many hours, Bush's body was never recovered, and the disaster claimed his life.
