Definitely sounds like classic signs of schizophrenia. People that are susceptible to getting it usually start having signs of it when they are in their teens. Pot use can trigger it. I can’t believe no one got him a mental health evaluation.

I’ve heard medical issues can cause changes in behaviors. I wonder if he had a tumor or something in his brain if he wasn’t on any substances. This story is heartbreaking all around.

My stepdad just got done with a manic episode, far less intense than this story, but sounds like the poor guy was having a manic episode and/or psychotic break and just didn’t get help in time

I’m curious if he has a tumor. I know it sounds crazy but I know they can cause you to act completely irrationally. Especially since it happened so fast.
