I salute you sir, but I disagree with this a little, I don't know how we got here, I mean who impacted this mindset in us African that a man must be worship in marriage, the bible commands the man to love his wife and the wife submit to her husband, but the truth is that a genuine love brings a natural submissiveness, we should quit from this mindset that once a man marries a woman, it's simply means he's doing her a favour, I'm not married yet but I believe in marriage, we should both be intentional to make it work, no one should be treated less, marriage is meant to compliment 2 people not to enslave a particular person, we as men should not always expect from what we can't offer, we shouldn't expect the woman to tolerate from us what we can't tolerate from them, we all have feelings and that should be respected and value,that way, we all will live and have a PEACEFUL MARRIAGE, this is my opinion Sir.

I've been married for 11 years,and my husband has never raised his 🖐️🖐️on me. No third party bcos I'm naturally calm so there's serenity most of the time. Although we do have misunderstanding, any anytime i get angry he knows he's offended me. Marriage is work itself.

Okay I’ll object this, my mom is a peaceful woman, always kneeling for my dad and saying yes sir, she will starve while he eat, right now she was bitten by a snake and my dad didn’t say anything about it until I raised alarm, for 20 years my dad has been mean to her, it’s not by character o, man wey go stay go stay, the only thing my dad hasn’t done was to leave us or harm her, but verbally and emotionally he hurts her each day
