For anyone who is the man who didn't wait & is fearful over how the person who did wait will feel/react, I'm currently in the situation of having waited for decades, falling in love with a new Christian with a past...honestly, knowing he turned away from something he could so easily have stayed stuck in, seeing how careful & respectful he is with me, how chastity is struggle but he's determined to do the right thing & the courage he's had to grow in his love for God...it's very beautiful & it's made me admire, respect & love him more than any man I ever met who waited. Don't be afraid or ashamed. The right person will love you like Christ, and see you for the new creation you are.

I love this! I think shame is a natural consequence of our sin, but as you said, in Jesus Christ, there is no more condemnation and He sets us free from guilt so that we can freely love and serve Him ❤️
