Hot Tips 🔥 - Halal food can be found in these cities however it is limited to Kebabs, Middle Eastern & Indian Cuisine - If you are looking for Halal Italian food you will be hard pressed to find any, so we just stuck to vegetarian / seafood pasta and ensured with the waiter regarding cross contamination and alcohol not being used - BOOK YOUR VISITS IN ADVANCE, even 1-3 months early if possible, during peak and even slightly off peak season the lines to all the attractions are INSANELY LONG even for ticketed lines too. - When booking your tickets online try to book from the official website, domain should end in (.it) for Italy and (.va) for Vatican City, their sites are quite glitchy but if you can get through it, you will be paying cheaper than going through Viator / Getyourguide - We didn’t find any issues with scammers or pickpockets, as long as you are not being stupid and you keep an out on your belongings you will be fine! - Download the app “Trainline” to book your train tickets between cities - Always have some cash on hand as some smaller restaurants and sites prefer a cash payment, especially the Gondola rides in Venice - Don’t carry too much luggage as the roads are mostly cobblestone and a fair few hotels are deep within the suburbs where cars can’t enter.
