It will for me. I decided to not upgrade my old MacBook and buy one. However, as I never had an iPad, I will try it first with a cheap A16 iPad before committing with an air or the relatively soon to be released future M5 pro model.

It’s genuinely amazing for students but unfortunately you can’t get full apps for video editors or any developers for example all the adobe apps aren’t full on iPad

iPad is 26 is definitely an improvement but unless app developers start changing things, the apps will still not have the functionality of their Mac OS versions so no, it’s not enough to replace my MacBook

iPad could have replaced the cheaper mac if they did a "dex" mode like Samsung. Since the cpu are quite similar and with the same architecture. At least for people who don't pull much by mac it would be the ideal substitute.

It ruined my iPad experience it’s an Hellhound to close something and I like to use procreate on canvas mode eater mode I use it thinks I’m closing the app
