@aussiemammoth1: Sometimes in the work I do, I hear stories that truly break the heart. A father helps wash his son. A son washes his father. SubhanAllah… this is the reality of life and death. Our brother here, may Allah have mercy on him, washed his own father. Allah yurhamak, ya Haj. Before he passed, his only wish was for his son to look after his only daughter—his sister. When a father leaves this world, it feels like the rock of the family is gone. The solid base, the foundation, the glue that kept everyone together… gone. And in that moment, someone has to step up. So I say to you, my brother and sister—learn. Learn from your parents while they are alive. Learn how to live. Learn how to survive. Because the day they pass, you will feel the loneliness. You will feel the emptiness.
