I was a mechanic on the AH-1W. Flew front seat on test flights all the time. The view from the front seat is like being on top of the world. Man I miss those days.

Still crazy to me that these were built off the UH1 airframe. You can see it the most in the exhausts being virtually the same as the UH1Y Venom.
