my assessment was this morning. Was intense, lots of questions to try and trip me up but I honestly can't do x y z so didn't work. Bit I was offended with was asking if I was under a dietician when she asked height and weight!! Cheeky mare

I'm the same I take paracetamol plus ibuprofen gel for certain conditions but can't take ibuprofen tablets because I'm on anticoagulants

My mum worked full time and paid into system for over 50 years, she was unable to work due to repetitive strain injury on shoulder and spondylitis and she wasn’t entitled to anything, she was in so much pain and couldn’t lift her arm had bad heads that made her bed bound, and job centre kept making her apply for jobs when she was sick, she retires this year but she nearly lost her house because of the lack of help and made her mentally ill with stress and anxiety…the system is broke

i take naxproxen & also take co-codamol when pain is severe they wrote back to me the same thing too that I'm not on stronger medication.

What about the fact that it’s physically not good for you physically to take strong medicines long term? Things like being susceptible to addiction? or just not wanting to keep big pharma going by taking medicine that doesnt actually get to the root of the problem instead of treating symptoms?!?

They constantly lies, I'm always having to fight them for my daughter who is crippled with psoratic arthritis, she's in a wheel chair, her fingers are curled over, she can't move her head etc, yet they told me she can bathe herself, cook, walk, and take her own medication. I literally do everything for her.

I had my assessment last week snd she was getting annoyed at me as she asked if I ever took too many painkillers and I said if my pain was too much sometimes I doubled up and she asked how often and I was trying to think as it's not all the time and she's saying how many day's so I said 3 or 4 so she then said I need to contact your gp so because of that I think I've failed

I literally burnt them in tribunal over the this , I’m allergic to most medication they would give, they completely ignored a rare condition I have perfectly exsplaining why I can’t take most medications 🤦🏽♀️💨

I had a telephone call and was apparently well presented with my long hair straightened and make up on. I was also apparently wearing a suit... I have brown hair. I don't wear make up. I don't wear suits. I actually wore my oodie during the call

Makes me so cross 😳 I’m the same for degenerative disc disease I’m already on so many meds for other conditions I can’t take the high pain relief dose for the pain ! I had my review booked in by phone they have cancelled twice now last minute 😳😳 I got myself all worked up twice for nothing ! it’s just not fair 😔

When I first applied two years ago my outcome letter was like “you have a job therefore we can ascertain you are capable to do XYZ” when half of my convo was about the fact that I couldn’t go into work and had sick notes for 7months 💀 I didn’t appeal but have re applied now and assessment soon!

Mine says this! I take Naproxen and not opiates because I was an addict. As well as not being diagnosed with cognitive impairment… I have diagnosed and medicated ADHD!! Oh and non specific anxiety medication… I’m on 200mg sertraline 🙄

Ohh I had that medicine copy and paste last time 👍 was awarded lower rate - I can’t take codiene or naproxen now as my stomach can’t cope due to the years of taking it, but take all sorts of other medication so wonder what they will say this time 🙄😭😬 x
