@crmnallyobsessed: On June 25, 2025, Sanel Durakovic was indicted and arrested for the 2020 murder of veteran hairdresser Patrick Godwin in his front yard in Ooltewah, Tennessee. Godwin, who worked for about 30 years at Tease Salon in Chattanooga, was fatally shot at his home. Durakovic was initially indicted in 2020, but the case was dismissed roughly 18 months ago to allow for further investigation. Prosecutors cited significant issues with the evidence—some of which was lost—such as a vehicle surveillance video. One pivotal detective, who could have testified about this footage, had passed away, and authorities had yet to extract GPS data from Durakovic’s vehicle. The investigation continued. A grand jury just indicted Durakovic and he's been detained at Hamilton County Jail, awaiting trial. Sheriff Garrett and DA Coty Wamp emphasized this as a critical step toward providing closure for the victim’s family
