How to make restaurant-quality steak and potatoes in the backyard 🙌 Full recipe below ⬇️  • The secret to a great crust and incredible flavor is using grass fed and finished beef tallow by @Kettle and Fire 🔥 • Ingredients: Ribeye steak (or steak of your choice) Shallots Garlic Rosemary Thyme Beef Tallow Broccolini  Mashed Potatoes: 5-7 golden potatoes 1.5-2 cups heavy cream  2 sticks butter Rosemary Thyme  Salt, pepper, garlic Parmesan TALLOW-INFUSED COWBOY BUTTER Leftover tallow from steak 4 Tbsp butter 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard 1 Tbsp chili crisp Juice of half a lemon 1/4 cup heavy cream 1/2 tsp smoked paprika 1 tsp chives 1 tsp rosemary 1 tsp parsley  • Instructions: POTATOES -Peel and quarter potatoes and boil them for about 15 minutes. Drain water and allow to steam off for 5 minutes -In a saucepan, add in heavy cream, butter, and herbs. Let that get to a simmer -Mash the potatoes and add the heavy cream mixture through a strainer to catch the herbs -Stir into the potatoes and add in salt, pepper, garlic to taste and about 1/2 cup Parmesan STEAK -I dry brined mine for 2 days to ensure an even better crust and flavor but it is not necessary to do so -On a skillet over medium heat, melt about 1-2 Tbsp beef tallow and place steak on, placing a chef press on top to ensure a consistent crust -After 5 mins, flip over and add shallots, herbs, and garlic to the pan. After 5 mins, place everyone onto the steak and allow to rest -Combine all ingredients for the cowboy butter into the same skillet and plate up! • 🫵 gotta give this one a try 💪 #kettleandfirepartner
