mine are crushed on 2 spots. no rust just lifting my car up by the proper spots and hear a crunch.

pinch welds on my 93 Corolla folded over when I try to Jack up the front. pinchwelds are not a good jacking point.

On a beetle sitting on harbor freight jackstands for a week did it. Also jacking on a surface where the jack can’t roll as it jacks. 🤷🏻♂️I use a lift now😂

I recently crushed my own. Was using a floor jack that didn’t roll properly while lifting. Bent the weld flat n flush unfortunately.

I’ve seen that happen when cars aren’t pulled center on a two post lift and the support part of the lift arm hits the body before the pad hits the frame

I bought a rubber pad with 2 slots in it so my jack sits nicely on the pinch welds

I crushed one car's pinch weild by using a swing arm lift to change the oil. I was not paying attention to where the lift point was.
