You need a clinical license or a masters degree for psychology to mean anything tho i feel like not enough counselors talk about that.

i feel like Psychology is just a very common degree, Like in order to actually make money with that you need a masters at least i thought of it like to become a psychiatrist but honestly, it’s just a very common so that threw me off

I wish we had more information about majors, English and psychology are great examples of bad degrees. Not in general but you really have to know how to market those types of degrees in the job market. Not like it’s already hard enough.

No one ever woke up and said I want to work, ever. Just find something you are ok doing that you don’t hate. Find something that will eventually pay a lot, that balances out having to work. Of everyone got paid hella, they would love to work but most don’t

A friend of mine has a friend who also has a psych degree and doesn't use it but shes in Target corporate and works remotely. Not sure how she landed that job but there are possibilities.

so psychology isn’t the worse when you think outside the box. I graduated with a psych degree minor in English and political science. Started out as an executive assistant then become a confidential investigator. Think outside the box!

Girl, straight out of high school went to university and graduated with my bachelor’s degree in psychology. Took a gap year then went to grad school graduated last year and now I am social worker and hate my job 😭

I have one in biology and got 30k in debt for it. Worst decision in my life. Even with a PhD max salary in my area is 150k -200k. My bf makes that every two months with no degree at 25 😭
