@potomac_riverkeeper: In @waterkeeperalliance ‘s most recent PFAS report, a shocking 98% of tested water samples contained one or more types of PFAS (including our site tested at Opequon Creek in West Virginia). PFAS contamination is so widespread, yet there is still a serious lack of legislation requiring PFAS regulation and monitoring. Furthermore, industrial pollution sites contributing to PFAS contamination often impact low-income communities and communities of color which are typically situated closest to these sites.
