It’s not to go to school in Louisiana it’s go go to school in Jefferson parish… people are gonna freak out thinking they gotta pay for theirs as well in other parishes (where they don’t)

It’s because it isn’t mandatory and based on the type of grant the administration filed to receive funding for the program. Most likely it’s income based for qualifying. Many kids are denied entry at all due to lower income kids taking up eligible spots. Been there with my kids. 🤷🏼♀️
