I had this happen, and I went to the ER immediately. They ended up doing a CT scan of my brain for any clots, but didn’t find anything. The next day I went to my eye doctor, but she didn’t find anything either. They suspected retinal migraines. I haven’t had it since then yet.

mine happen when I was on the hospital bed for low blood pressure with fever treatment suddenly one eye blurry and dark vision accompany with loss hearing too hmmm God help me. 😭😭😭😭😭

This happens to me all of the time! I had a stroke in 2011.. and after that I had narrow angle glaucoma that they did surgery for. I wake up with one blurry eye all the time.

can orthostatic hypotension cause this? I've had it happen a few times but blinking usually clears it so I've always brushed it off.

Maybe about twice a year i wake up to my eye or eyes blurred . Hard to see and one of my arms go numb this has happened for years .but then I realize as I got older that it’s because I have a migraine/headache. I have to put on my glasses take an ibuprofen and go back to sleep and then im fine

What if you wake up with one eye blurry after a massive migraine that felt like something was stabbing you in the back of your eye and you NEVER regain 20/20 vision in that eye. It stays blurry all the time. You’ve been to neurologist had mris CT’s been to eye doctors and nobody can tell you WHY. Just give you glasses and send you on your way. But every year your vision deteriorates more and more . Every year you get a stronger glasses rx

Okay so is this always the case ? Could it be from the tears ? Perhaps it’s the eye from the side you slept on ?? This is extreme for a first time
