@chieftreker: This Gallabat/METEMA border has been closed for almost 2 years now. Sudan side is open but Ethiopian side no immigration no customs people. And nobody knows when the Ethiopian border will open. They say 300km of road from METEMA towards adis ababa is has thievies and gunmen who can kill tourists for money or even car.
