I make these all of the time and they are such a nourishing and uplifting way to enjoy your bath time 🛁 They would make a beautiful gift too! Ingredients: 65 g (4 tbsp) cocoa butter 17 g (1½ tbsp) sweet almond oil 10 g (3 tsp) Rosehip Infused Oil (I haven’t yet shared how to make rosehip infused oil, so if you don’t have this you can substitute in for more sweet almond oil and take the recipe to 27g) 2g rose petals 1 g vitamin E oil 1 g mandarin essential oil 1 g rosemary essential oil Method: Gently melt the cocoa butter, sweet almond oil and Rosehip Infused Oil until it is a liquid consistency using the double boiler method Take off the heat and place in the refrigerator When the mixture has cooled to below 105°F (40°C), add the rose petals, vitamin E oil, mandarin essential oil and rosemary essential oil This should take 10 to 15 minutes to cool Stir to combine Pour into silicone molds of your choice. I like to use small molds that are approximately 4 centimeters (1½ inches) wide and 1 centimeter (½ inch) deep. Place in the fridge to set Store in an airtight container. These should last for 3 months Drop into warm bathwater for a deeply soothing bath. The butters and oils in this recipe are rich in vitamins A, D, K and E, which all contribute to overall skin health. Your skin care products are even working for you when you're taking a bath! This would make a gorgeous Christmas gift - so if you’re already thinking about making and creating - save for reference! 💕 This and lots of other beautiful recipes will be in my book - The Natural Skincare Recipe Book - available to pre order now! (It would also make an amazing gift by the way 😉💕) #diyskincare #naturalskincare #bathmelts #skincaretips #ecofriendlyliving #ecofriendlyproducts
