It's wild how people assume tiffin service is dirty but don't worry about door dash, pizza delivered in cardboard boxes etc. Tiffin seems cleaner to me.

I travelled all around India and ate incredible food. I never got sick until I ate a salad at the Chilis in the Chicago airport on the flight back. Got incredibly sick and can’t even look at a Chilis logo.

In northern India it’s so hard to find vegan food. They have to make it specially for you. Because everything has ghee in it. So it’s nice to see goa have vegan options.

Not in a racist or ignorant way, I have been surprised there were a lot of beef offerings. I never imagined that would be common place in India because of hinduism. I looked up that Goa didn’t have laws against it but that over 20 states do. Its so interesting how food and culture interact on micro and macro levels
