Game👏🏼changing👏🏼 tips to save your curls ✨💦 I’ll be doing these until I’m old and grey 😌👌🏼 Here’s my curly hair do’s and don’ts (these work for me, though some of them might not work for you if your hair type differs from mine 🩷) ❌ 1: Only shampooing your roots. I know that shampooing your ends seems wrong! And if your hair is damaged then I personally wouldn’t do this. But because I’m applying curl cream and gel on my mids / ends, I always cleanse them too, and doing so has made my curls a lot bouncier and shiny! ✨ ❌ 2: Not properly washing out your shampoo. It seems simple, but there’s been times when I’ve thought that I’ve washed out my shampoo, and then added conditioner whilst some of the shampoo is still in my hair. This leaves my hair feeling less soft etc. ❌ 3: Double shampooing using the same shampoo. Double shampooing is great in of itself for removing buildup. But I also use it as a time to get two benefits from different products. For example, I’ll pair a clarifying shampoo with a moisturising shampoo etc. 🧼 ❌ 4: Not using the rub and rake method when washing out shampoo. Rubbing your scalp and then raking out the shampoo which has already started to travel down your hair makes washing my hair so much easier! Honestly try it! ❌ 5: Not using enough deep conditioner. This depends on person to person - if you have fine low density hair then you probably won’t need as much deep conditioner as this. But when I first started looking after my curls I was afraid of using lots of product, however my curls need it, especially when they’ve not been washed in over a week! 💦 The products featured in this video: 💛 @MATRIX UKI A Curl Can Dream Shampoo and it was actually the first time I used this and I looooooved it. Such a nice scent and the lather was 👌🏼 💛 @amika Hydro Rush Intense Moisture Shampoo 💦 Such a nice moisturising shampoo 💛 @Skala Cosméticos blue Mais Cachos 2 in 1 Cream (cannot explain how obsessed I am with this) #curlyhair #curlyhairtips #3acurls #curlygirl #curlyhairroutine #curls #curly #curlscurlscurls #curlyhaircare #washday #curldefinition
