Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. Season the chicken inside and out with salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, and olive oil. Place in a roasting pan. 3. In a bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, rosemary, thyme, garlic, salt, and pepper. Arrange around the chicken. 4. Roast in the oven for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and potatoes are tender. 5. While the chicken and potatoes are roasting, prepare the green beans. Blanch green beans in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then drain and set aside. 6. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. 7. Add green beans to the skillet, and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. 8. Remove chicken from oven, let rest for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare pan sauce: pour off excess fat from the roasting pan, place on stove over medium heat, and deglaze with a bit of chicken broth or water, scraping up browned bits. Simmer until slightly reduced. 9.
