no that's not true if you want to learn English exactly like the native speakers you must watch short movies TV series Etc learn like the kids you don't need to memorize 3,000 words flashcards just just watch movies try to speak and listen more than what you're listening English now if you see a learning 3,000 words you'll forget every day you struggling and it's hard to memorize all of that words so just watch movies and TV series and absorb new words so when you see a word again and again and again you'll learn it naturally without counting how many words you know. thank you.
