Ex burns nurse... hydrate yourself, take paracetamol, moisturise the skin, take zinc and vitamin C. You do not need A&E for this. Not belittling your pain, but this is not an accident nor an emergency and you will wait a long long time. Your skin is injured and it will heal

Paramedic here. Head to an urgent care clinic or a local NHS pharmacy. You’re not wasting anyone’s time, that’s what you pay your taxes for. You can also call 111 if you want. Drink lots of water, keep applying after sun (not petroleum based cream), cover the damaged skin and keep out of sunlight until healed. Take paracetamol and alternate with ibuprofen

You can’t heal it in a day. You’ve burned deeper parts of your skin, it will take up to 28 days (or more) to heal (cell turnover time). Just keep moisturizing it with some calming creams (like panthenol) and wait it out.

everyone saying a and e is the reason wait times are so high and the service is so stretched. unless you start to experience swelling, just keep it moisturised with aftersun and stay out of the sun

You need to buy a serious spf for every day going forward, I’d start looking at dermatologists because your risk of skin cancer is higher now so you might want to get regular checks for moles etc
