Yeah the inside electronic system looks outdated without the advanced features and screens but tbh its fine considering the reliability and it being fairly cheap. Great first car if you want the advanced stuff its worth to wait

The “not chasing trends” thing is really a double sided coin, while yes when new features are added they’re great, but also they don’t appear in Toyotas until every other company has had them for years. Like the Tundra didn’t get a full menu in its gauge cluster until 2020, while everyone else has had them for at least 5 year atp

They also couldn’t make planes after ww2 so they took all of their aviation engineers and since they had to make their engines bulletproof in planes they took that knowledge with them and put that knowledge into cars
