As the eldest daughter I knew at a young age whatever I do isn't enough so I decided to live my life how I want it. I still respect them and help them in what they need, but I didn't want to sacrifice my social life back then. You're way more ahead than most people your age. Live your life, because you won't want any regrets later on.
