Based on all available evidence from science, history, and philosophy, all religions appear to be human creations. This is the conclusion supported by the evidence, but it does not answer whether a God or creator exists—it only shows that religions themselves do not come from God. Natural events, disasters, diseases, and personal outcomes occur without favoritism, and studies show prayer does not influence results. If a God exists, the most consistent view is a non-intervening creator (Deism) who made the universe and its laws but does not micromanage events, answer prayers, punish or reward, or control human destiny. The appearance of an “interfering God” in religions is better understood as a human construction, created to provide meaning, morality, and comfort in an otherwise indifferent universe.
