I was 22 in 1977 and I can say that most of the information in this video is not correct. junk food was very popular, and almost nobody walked anywhere.

Fast food took over because mothers had to go to work, so no one was home to shop and cook big meals every day.

Some of these are lies; sugary snacks WERE PREVALENT, then. We had actual candy STORES - not just liquor stores. In the 60s?-a full small bag of candies - 25 cents. Pop machines EVERYWHERE. And THREE FULL meals - a DAY.

I really feel lucky, both of my parents where in step with each other, my mom loved being a housewife, my dad worked two jobs to make sure it happened. Mom always cooked 3 meals a day, my das once a month would always take us out to eat and it was always a nice restaurant and KFC was about as fast as are food got. Dad always made sure we went on summer vacation. When I moved out at 19 in 1983 did really really have fast-food but was always glad to go home to eat, we wasn't rich but happy 😊✌️

I was raised by my grandparents. Fast food was a luxury ❤️. My grandmother still used serving dishes every day we didn’t eat out of pots. They grew vegetables in gardens and shared with neighbors who had fruit trees They only bought meat from a meat market. No big grocery shopping 💯💯
